Each graduate is confirmed to have attended the relevant certificated ECU training course and has successfully passed the test at the conclusion of the course. The names listed are regarded as having adequate awareness of didactical techniques and knowledge of playing chess according to the standards of the European Chess Union applied to teaching chess in schools.
