This edgy mini-game practises moving the various chess piece and envisaging capture sequences.
There is no king. The piece setup is the same as in chess except that the black queen has been moved one square to avoid immediate capture. This game lends itself to misère (Loser) rules i.e. captures are mandatory and the first person to lose all their pieces is the winner.
The Loser version of this game is over very quickly with best play.
White has won because all its pieces have been captured.
Play the game in the conventional way with the winner as the one who captures all their opponent’s pieces – or has most points by the end of the playing time.
